PI swap Questions

In the last two weeks ive acquired i fairly good amount of parts. I have a set of comp XE270AH cams on the way, i have a set of JBA stainless longtubes, 75 shot of NX, and a set of stock windsor PI heads. My questions are: 1. I just removed the stock PI cams from the heads, there are 2 or 3 groves in the cam journals is this okay? 2. Can i reuse the original cam bolts, they didnt seem too tight when i removed them just an easy tap to get'em loose. 3. I have a set of romeo NPI heads can i use the cam gurdles on the romeo heads or should i just reuse the windsors? I can upload some pictures if anyone is interested in the topic. I greatly appreciate any input that you may have to offer.

Degree the 270's when you get them installed and get a tune.

Thanks for the input javi. Do you have any experience on degreeing 2V cams? Any idea of the grooves effecting anything?

1) Need pictures of the grooves to see how bad/big they are.
2) yes you can reuse the cam tower bolts (see hylands book for spec's on torque)
3) You would have tocheck bolt pattern to see if the tower caps fit the windsor caps, but I wouldnt swap spit, you know when you take off that vavle cover if you see caps its a W and if there is a brace then its a Romeo
