PI swap???

Hi, I'm new (obviously) I'm wanting someone to explain to me, "PI" parts?? swaps? What does "PI" stand for?? I'm very curious. Thanks to anyone providing helpful information! I look forward to learning more about my favorite car!

PI is referring to the Power Improved heads/cam/intake on 1999+ mustang gt's and other 4.6 motors. you can swap any PI part(s) onto your 1996-1998 NPI (non-power improved) mustang gt.

Man. You helped tons.. I've been extremely curious about that for a long time. and no one has been able to answer as thoroughly as you have!! I appreciate it tons!! Now.. I hear people say, I full PI swapped GT is gonna be better than a full bolt-on GT...?? is that true? What do you think? advice? Thanks again!

all of the PI parts flow more air compared to the NPI parts. when you swap them onto your NPI it bumps the compression a tad, making you have more power than a stock, or even mild bolt on PI gt.
