Not much in the way of decent wheels.

The FR500 is probably the best bet and one of my favorite additions I have done.

Do they really look and feel that much different? I've only seen them in catalogs

That is a nice looking wheel.
It was hard to pay attention to it though. Those seats are gorgeous

Yessir.

I believe it was Paul who compared it to holding a pair of tits or something along those lines.

My overall favorite in terms of looks is the 10th anniversary Cobra steering wheel, FR500 is sweet though.

Isn't it the same wheel?

for the price I would rather put it in engine or some stupid cosmetic thing that would get noticed. Has anyone ever come up and commented on your steering wheel? Did't think so..

I'm not really concerned about whether people notice my wheel, I just don't like the stocker. But either way I just saw what the price on the cobra wheel costs and that's definitely out.
I've always been a fan of the 4 spoke grant challenger, put them in most of the cars I've had, I'm just not feeling it on this interior. I am worried it would look out of place

I've yet to see a regular aftermarket wheel I liked in out interior and honestly, why give up the airbag if you don't have to?

No ones ever complimented my on my FR500 steering wheel besides diehard Mustang guys like us BUT I no longer get the "Your steer wheel looks like shit! lol" comments either.

I think I'm just going to get some leather, some padding, contact cement, a curved needle and some waxed upholstery thread and just wrap my stock wheel

Yes, at a gas station a guy asked me if that was a FR500 and asked if he could feel the difference before he ordered one.
He said he was sold on it.

For me it had nothing to do with how it looked but how much more comfortable it was.
