I love that single step one,# CER-116. I thought about it for my car even! It was between the 1.5, # FH-94981, and that one. I totally flipped and I'm now buying a 96-98 Cobra hood! I don't know if this helps you, but I was e-mailing with a guy that works there about hoods. There are a few that 50resto makes of their own brand that are cheaper. He said they're as good as the name band stuff! I'm very poor, so that really factored in!!

I really wanted that one but had to be different so I got the shaker. But the cobra r 2000 is the best lookin out available.

does the 96-98 cobra oem hood have a higher rise then our gt hood??
looks like it rises in the area between the two scoops.

i have to admit the 1 step rise look good but i think 3.5 inch is too much.

Who says you have to buy a brand new one

so you plan on using hood pins then....the latch reinforcements are very critical and i wont trust anything but a cervinis hood to hold without running hood pins

For my car its down to the following hoods... the single step Cervini's cowl hood, or the 96-98 Cobra... might just go with the Cervini's...
