i need to see a shifter in first gear on a 5 speed car in a 1995. if someone could take a picture of theirs. i'm not sure if i have the right trans in my car. i thought it would be easier to compare the pictures rather than pull the trans out to measure everything. my shifter is real close to the metal edge at the front of the shifter. thanks in advance.

thanks.i'm trying to figure out if i have a fox body trans in mine or not. by looking at where the shifter on a good 95 is in relationship to the front of the hole in the floor. all a person would need to do is pull up their shifter cover with the trans in first. then i could see if mine is way closer than it should be. i need to get a trans and so far am having no luck finding a 95 trans. i can find fox body trans all over the place. but not many 95's
Climb under neath the car, see if the bellhousing has little vent-like slits on it (Has some on top and bottom). All 94/95 Bells ive seen are like this, whereas fox ones have none. If it has a 94/95 bell in it, its in right place.
