play in drive shaft yoke

so i have has a terrible driveline vibration in my car for a while now, so i assumed it was the u joints. i bought the u joints and when i jacked the car up i noticed i have play in the yoke for the ds. so i take it i need to replace the yoke? i hope the problem isnt the output shaft in the transmission :BangHead:

anybody know if a ds from a 2000 gt will work?

I'm not sure what year model your car is but 4.6 cars have a different driveshaft than the 5.0 cars.

im thinking one from a 2000 will work, i found one for sale on CL. it has the same engine and trans as my car.
