Please help.. What pulley is this??

Thought that this was my idler pulley, bought a new one and it a lot smaller...... Its squealing so I want to change it... What it is?

and you probably got that one from Napa, thats what my napa one looks like too... im guessing its smaller because they use a generic part number for idler pullies 94-98... i doubt it will hurt anything, but thats a 4.6L pulley

You needa idler pulley. The one they gave you looks like a pulley for a 4.6.

you sure they didn't give you the pulley for your belt tensioner? either way it's not right..

its a tensioner or idler pulley for a 4.6L. same pulley design. thats not the right one for your car, but it wouldnt surprise me if it worked...

i work in an auto parts store.. It was a belt tensioner for my car not an idler pulley.. Whoever put it into the system at my job put it in backwards.. I checked the box instead of the computer and they were switched.. Got it in the car and now i need a new belt..

that's because it's the wrong pulley.
