please help!!!!

k guys this weekend i raced an older foxbody from a second gear punch... i went into third and heard a weird noise, then fourth and heard it again... i was topping out fourth then it started grinding and i immediatley pushed in the clutch and stopped... it was fine to drive back to where we met up about 5miles.. then when i went to leave, it wouldnt go into any gear at all... when i turned the engine off it went in with ease.. so i started it in 1st, and it drove home fine... some of the guys said i just need a fire wall clutch adjuster and a quadrant? any tips would be appreciated thank you.... :TY:

either that or your syncros are taking a sh*t

did you notice your rpm's jumping arround when the car was making the noise if it did it's the clutch or cable if not it's going to be more expensive

yeah they did a lil bit, almost as if it disengaged then re-engaged... its fine driving normal but it does that noise when under full load...
