I bought a gt40 lower intake which im going to use with a Kenne Bell Blower. My question: Is it pointless to have my lower intake ported if i dont have my heads ported to match?

If you are running the stock heads, then you CAN leave the GT40 lower as is and port it later if/when you upgrade the cyilnder heads.
However, if you do get it ported, you will still gain power....

If I go ahead and have the intake ported, I think ill go ahead and have the heads done also. How much does it cost to have heads ported? Would I be better off finding a used set of gt40 or something money wise?

If you have the money to spend, dont waste your money on porting the stock heads. Save the extra cash and stepup to a set of aluminum heads like GT40s, Edelbrocks, TFS Twisted Wedge, AFR 165s etc, and port the GT-40 intake......

and while its apart, nice time to upgrade the camshaft as well if you dont already have it done.....

I was looking at getting some some ported E7's from http://www.thumperoforangepark.com/ and sending mine in as a core.

Whats a good cam shaft to use with boost? I kind of like the Ecam but i have heard negative things about it.

what kinda negative things? sometimes its hit and miss in the 94--95 cars....but a tune takes care of it.
Have a look into the Steeda #19 cam....its a little more friendly to the 94-95 cars...

EDIT: just looked at the thumper website....not a bad deal for their stage 1 and 2 kits actually!
