i was wondering if powder coating will cover/fill curb pits in my rim. I let my mom drive it to work to show off to some other stangs fan and when he was parking it she hit the curb only in one stop. not really noticeable but the matter of fact that it happen drives me nuts

it won't cover it but the curb rash can be smoothed out first then powder coated.

depending on how bad it is, as long as the wheel is properly preped(sp?) for paint/coating it should eliminate or at least reduce the damage to a less noticable look...

Powder coat will not "fill in" anything. It will only color the pits and scratches. That is why the prep work is so important. You'll need to sand the heck out of it and blend the area so that it doesn't look like a low spot on your rim.

Good luck.
