Power steering pressure line issue.

I'm having a bunch of issues with the pressure line on my wifes 95 GT. It sat all winter and when i went to start it, it dumped all the power steering fluid. Found it coming out of the pressure line, between the fitting and the pipe. I cant figure out for the life of me how it should seal. I bought a new hose and its identical to the old one, even leaks the same. On the end of the fitting the pipe is recessed, it doesnt look like type 1, 2 or 3 as described in the paper that came with the new hose. Is it just internally sealed and i got a bad new hose?

I believe there is an O-ring and teflon washer that should be there to seal it
