Power window problems

Im having an issue with my drivers side window. It has no power going to the motor. At first i thought the motor went, but i took the window motor out and hooked it directly to the battery and it works fine. I looked up the fuses, and it looks like its the same fuse for the drivers side, and passenger side window, and the passenger window works fine, so it doesnt seem that that would be an issue. It deffenitaly seems that theres some kind of electrical issue somewhere tho, anyone have any ideas of what i could do, or where I should start looking?

1) are you getting power to the door
2) are you geting power to the switch
3) does the passenger side window work from the driver side.

yes, im getting power to the door, the power locks work,.....the passenger side window does work from the drivers side switch, when u would say am i getting power to the switch, i would assume so if the passenger side window would work, and all the wires seem to be fine upon a visual inspection, i dont really know where to look next, or what to do?

this is probably a stupid question, but do you own a multimeter?
