Bad head gasket and about a 1/4-1/2" worth of shit stuck in the secondary ports is reason for pulling. It was time. Figured I'd go all out and do it all, suspension, gear, motor etc.

Shortblock pulled down, more than likely will go forged.

Wish I could have went MM or Griggs tubular and Coil overs, but college is not a fan of project cars. FRPP arms, MM rack bushing kit, sportlines or super sports, HD bilsteins, MM CC plates to tie the front together. Should handle well and be nice and quiet. The intake and covers should give out some hints as to what direction I'm headed. More to come when I feel like taking pictures of all the parts I have laying around when I get off my ass.

I want a picture three on a pedestal in my living room(obviously cleaned a bit). The oil makes the block almost look copper. Oh, and SOHC or DOHC(can't tell which it is sadly...) heads look sweet with no valve covers...

Back on track, looks like a sweet build and looking forward to learning some by keeping up with it.

Just look at the cams on the head, but a quick glimpse can make it look single if you look at huge cam gear.

I was thinking just SOHC from the big gear, but from the size of the head it looks like a DOHC...

It's a real cobra. I'd never mess with a fobra. It's DOHC. Twin cam towers = two cams per cyl head. Thanks. It'll be slick when it's done, I can promise everyone that.

Bought them in a huge package deal with powder coated VC, the covers, JLT RAI, COP swap harness, and some other stuff. Also have the MM black VC bolt kit to go with them. lol

Thanks everyone. Came home to find old man decided to paint and clear my sway bar with some other stuff. Still need to put a few things on order with MM, and Javi might be hooking me up with some more stuff here soon. Pretty stoked.

Haha, yeah I am going through that right now with the exhaust and the little touch ups. I have stacks of boxes behind my couch in my room. But it's been a fun process so far. I have a few changes I am looking into but I don't want to say anything until it's done.

Haha nice. I am trying to hunt down a set of heads right now. Might have just found me a set though.
