C head swap, 98 cams degreed 6 degrees, 04 mach intake, longtubes, aluminum flywheel, COP swap, forged shortblock, full suspension MM spec, t56, 4.10, tru-trac diff. The trans may come later, but its not a big deal to swap in. Pretty much getting the car where I will enjoy driving it N/A to college while I collect parts for an eaton swap.

Very nice setup / goal. Will be a beast for sure!! I still haven't decided about power mods yet. It's way to far out for me. I want to focus on everything else before I start making a ton of power.

Sounds like a awesome plan for the future, but it will still be fun til you get the eaton. Good luck!

Well I wasn't necessarily planning on doing this so soon. I waxed the car, had the windows tinted, cleaned it up, had it sharp as hell one sunday and on my way downtown to class all of a sudden the head gasket just finally let go. Limped it home and pulled it apart. I was right, that and the motor was clogged up like no ones business. Should have twice the power.

That sucks to hear but at least you're on your way to getting it all fixed in better condition. The exterior/interior already is looking great! Now it's time for some motor freshing up and enjoying the added power!

Awesome. Whereabouts in Charleston are you? PM me if you want. I live in Summerville now. Used to live on JI with my folks. Still work downtown, though.

Any updates Steven?

Well I have the heads, entire shortblock setup in the box courtesy of MMR, Eaton and alot of swap parts thanks to JeremyAlan on here, Spec AL flywheel NIB secondhand, and other stuff. Even got a set of factory cobra lamps to put in it. However I'm in between jobs, just went through finals, and don't have the cash to drop on sending the motor out to be built. There she sits, just waiting. If I get on at apple then I will save up and be sending it to L&M promptly. Oh and I bought an E30 BMW so I've been playing with that a little. Got distracted lol.
