Oh.... You are miles ahead of most of our builds!
Blak, you might eat this up bro! So close but so far. Ive been compiling parts now for 3-4 years. All my work was performed by a $200 dremel, with every type of tungsten carbide 1/8 bits (about 30 of them). Couple of pics of my heads. I've done slight work to my Chambers, my bore is +.020", lifter bumb taken out, no high or low spots in the porting. My chambers are 45CC's exactly with spark plugs installed. I measured out on the deck surface exactly how far I brung out chamber process, I kept the same angle (using a compass and protractor) at which the heart side of the chamber set back from the valve, used a piece of special made wood (set at same angle as heads) to lay my dremel in as a cradle. Kinda like somone would use a wood lathe, and thats how I achieved the angle and space. It took a while to get the wood just right, its more important than your heads really. I will give more detail on these later. 1587930799958738183686995110632.jpg

Forgot, but I didn't touch the floor or the SSR of the port. Only the LSR roof, and lightly blended the seat to the bowl.

Looks like fine work to me! Heck.. anything for the pursuit of performance!

I believe you are on the right track! As with anyone that "tries"! We all on the right track!

Take my 18:1 static compression build. It would have been successful if the 2nd ring was fitted correctly and the pistons were purposely made for ethanol! I keep saying ill adventure back to the build someday. Ttocs keeps on me about it....itll happen again one day.

But my point is, keep trying different avenues, learn from it. Keep building!

Ive always checked out your stuff, i find it very interesting, especially the camshaft specs. I'm a nerd for cam specs, it took me a year to pic out the ones I have.

Came to the garage today to finish cutting the grass, and snagged a couple shots of her as we speak.15880009643385898645388642033129.jpg 15880010337961703868966368877055.jpg 15880010673543368447361439211087.jpg 15880011847685286164396078736029.jpg Shes dusty and dirty from all the wind we've had.

I was going to buy new BBK long tubes like I had before, but hese were on the eastern KY craigslist for $300, so I had to get them. Good shape and not banged up. Just got to get them cleaned up for the wrap.15880021254119067859469719857131.jpg

Your going to laugh at this one, I don't even have 2 cams done and I'm trying to add 2 more:D. Cliche I know, but it was woman owned, suspension went bad, and she bought a newer ford. Has 105K miles. I just wanted the Teksid, and maybe save the rear for an old ford truck one day.20200427_115641.jpg 20200427_115653.jpg

My mock up engine I did some experimenting with piston notches. I want the sticks to be installed at a 106*, I know I can do a 108* with my modified intake valves. MHS has them installed at 110* on a factory engine with .040" clearance. My valves will give me .085" total minus .012" for heads =.073" right now at 110* with a factory .036" HG. Ive been finding each degree equaling between .015" to .017.5". So by my math I should be okay on my mock up, but the bottom end im using is sitting in the car now. Ive got to find out how much was took of the deck, but I know what ballpark I'm batting in.15881220642335851341340613641314.jpg

I would be watching TV
She is bitching about something
I tell her to quit interrupting my commercial
That pisses her a little more
Can't win

My GT has always been apart of me, and I mean that literally lol. I was cleaning my car one day when I was 19 (35 now), I was right between the driver side tail pipe and the bumper, and ended up cutting my left ring finger on the edge of the pipe, exhaust soot was in the cut, skin grew over, and still there today.:D Maybe thats why I'm so attached. It's an omen to never sell it.20200429_084229.jpg

Doing some last minute stuff, ive got everything un-bolted besides the trans crossmember to body, clutch cable down on the trans, and I have to tie up the power steering pump. Since it's nasty out, plus I'm hungry I'm going to call it today. It's coming out in the morning. I need to go buy another engine stand, so it's breakfast then to harbor freight!20200429_184847.jpg
