off to a good start. what year is your car? im curious to see how you will hold the motor up while changing the k member out.
A cherry picker works fine but there is an actual tool for this. It spans the engine bay and hangs on the fender aprons above the strut towers.

i need one :p

Thanks guys! Really haven't touch it since then. Actually still didn't put the motor mount bolts on yet. Regardless I just posted this is Dee's thread but it has a rightful spot in here

Yeah the engine truss worked out great! I borrowed that one from a friend but after seeing how he made his I went into work and fab my own. Just used some 2"x2"x3/16" tube steel and some 1"x1"x3/16" tube steel for legs. I haven't welded it together yet though, been pretty busy at work which is odd because two weeks ago we were dead in the water. I just had to pay the rest of my $1,000 fine from the Union so I'm short on cash but by paying this fine I got my raise finally and will be getting one again in April so the money will be rolling in. I'm figuring on being done the front suspension by late April.

Dafizuck: I will take you up on your offer, def need those (apparently its required with the k-member).

Just FYI this is what I have left on my to-do list:

Steve-oh, Nice job. noticed you plan on buyinf offest sterring rack bush's. You are MUCH better off going with MMs solid bushings. Offset bush's really screwup the front end geometry

Yeah I'm unsure about those, the only reason I was going with them is because MM's site claims them required with the k-member along with the directions for the k-member. Thanks for the info though, def have to research it more!

Welp minor update....

Just placed a few orders Monday and today, hopefully that's everything! RockAuto & Maximum MS must love me... Anywho since MM is in Cali and I'm in PA this might take about a week for delivery. Oh well, now it's time for the waiting game!!! The rack and A/C compressor should be here tomorrow though so I can start playing with that!

The worst is when you get some parts and they are wrong! Steering rack had the wrong shaft. Venturing over to the Ford dealer to see what they can offer me. The AC compressor looks good though! MADE IN KOREA! That'll last me about ... the rest of the summer lol.
