Project "S"

hi all. with a new job and extra funds, ive decided to start project S.

ill be keeping my 96 and 01 the way they are for now, as im tired of driving the 96 and ruining it, and the bullitt took the place as my show bitch.... lol.

anyways project S is gonna be started. it will be a car to drive and mess around at the autoX course in..

basically im gonna find a salvaged 01+ GT. Then im gonna strip it down and redo it, engine wise a power adder on the 2V, interior done up with a cage, suspension mods, and repaint a candy red metallic with a saleen body. it will mimick the s281 in 2 Fast 2 Furious. It will be my driver.

keep in mind it will all take time, and being 18, thats all i have,


my 96 will be getting a new hood and it will be done, put up for shows and cruises, the bullitt, well, is perfect how it is so no modifications. ccasion14:

Being somebody who autox's I would say go with a sn95 not a new edge. Just personal preference, I've seen a 96 cobra and a 99 cobra run the same course with the same driver and the 96 was alot more agile and just looked better, lol

I'd go with a SN95 because of the cheaper availability of them. And a 5.0L.

sn95 5.0 would be the best bet cheap car, cheap parts.

I'd be going with an older subaru rs... do a $4k wrx/sti swap and call it a day. Drive it year-round, do auto'x, hillclimb, dragstrip, have fun in the winter, etc.
