I was working today in my car and pulled some codes in the process. Heres what i got.

564 - Electro-Drive Fan circuit failure
172 - o2 Sensor circuit indicates system lean (right side)
176 - o2 Sensor circuit indicates system lean (left side)
212 - Loss of IDM (Ignition Diagnostic Monitor) input to EEC or SPOUT circuit grounded
332 - EGR valve opening not detected

538 - Insufficient RPM change during KOER dynamic response test/ Operator error
136 - o2 Sensor circuit indicates system lean (left side)

116 - ECT out of self test range 0.3 to 3.7 volts
112 - ACT Sensor Circuit Below Minimum Voltage of 0.2 volts (O), ACT circuit has intermittently failed below minimum 0.2 volts (M)

The last two codes are probably because i did the KOER while the engine was still a bit cold so i migh have to do the running test again but the others i believe are correct. The first code has got me lost , my fan works well, it turns on and off at the proper time and it runs great so i dont know what to look for there. Both o2 sensors are going to be replaced anyways for maintainance reasons so ill see if that takes cares of those codes. Is the EGR code related to the sensor that is mounted on top of the EGR valve ? Because my EGR seems to work fine since it moves up and down when the engine is reved.

I'm guessing that you don't know if the codes are current or have been stored for years. I would clear all codes and run the car for a while and check again. Nothing more frustrating trying to fix something that may have been looked after by a previous owner.

Well my car had a Chip installed in the computer by the previous owner and i took it off just because the car does not need one, it looks like one of those Off the shelf chips. Its from diablosport. Well shortly after the chip was removed the car runs better, it idles better and the fan now turns on at the correct time allowing the car to fully warm up. Tomorrow ill disconnect the ECM for 30+ minutes to erase the codes and try again , gonna drive the car around to allow it to warm up and let the computer pick up any codes and see what i get this time.

Oh i forgot to mention that before the chip was removed the Check Engine light never came off , after i took it off then it started to work.
