When I bought my car the SMOG pump pulley was all chewed up from the accident it was in, so I pulled the old pulley off with vise grips. Is there any way to put the new pulley on without damaging it (any method other than holding it with vice grips)?
My idler pulley bearing are all locked up and it was causing the belt to smoke. Got my new one in and I'm not sure what size bit the bolt is for it or where I can get one. Only other time I've seen a head like that is on seat belt bolts and I have no idea what that bit is called so I can't exactly go and google it.
When I got my car to run in august, it wouldn't idle. I had to keep my foot on the gas at all times otherwise the car would die. I'm thinking (and hoping) that replacing the locked up idler pulley, along with the belt and SMOG pulley will solve this. I also cleaned the MAF, IAC, and replaced all my vacuum lines that where causing leaks. Is there anything else that might of caused the idling problem that I can check or do before I get it running again? Once I put the pulleys on I can put everything I took off that was in the way back on and start her up but if theres anything else someone can suggest I do so I don't have to be disappointed when it doesn't idle when I start it, i'll just go ahead and do it now.

(don't mind my bare feet. LOL, took awhile ago right before I tore the intake manifolds off.)

NOTE: first 3 attempts at starting are without my foot on the gas, last one is with my foot on the gas.
