pulling distributor?

how do you remove it? i heard your supposed to mark where its pointing then remove the bolt???

I marked the shaft and the rotor. I would still put a timin light on it when you get the new one in or put it back.

on one of the things i saw that it said you should have it in the 1 o'clock position. Should i have it htere or should i have it at 4'oclock like it is now? i'm trying to get the lower intake off today, so if you guys could please explain, i'd be very appreciative.

las question. how do you get the wiring out once you've started to pull it. the wiring under the cap that goes to the coil.

It doesn't matter what position the rotor is in when you pull it, as long as it goes back in the same place.

You can only get the hall effect sensor out of the distributor by disassembling it and removing the shaft.
