so everythings pretty much going smooth. all electrical connections are disconnected, intake, battery, fan, and rad are all out. motor mount bolts are off. basicly everythings is off!! so i swear i thought i was going to pull it today. i planned on taking the front brackets off and putting bolts in the heads front and back and pulling it with the tranny.

well i hit a bump. 1st power steering pulley is being a *****. got a puller on loan from az. thing is all messed up. i guess whoever had it stripped the bolts. so im going to pick up one from harbor freight. so im not so worried about that.

my thing is the damn bracket bolts are freaking stuck on there bigtime. i cant get the sobs out for nothing. so heres what im thinking.. instead on putting the bolts on the heads should i go ahead and use a lift plate? i dunno why but they worry me. i figured id get one slap it on my intake and pull it. im just ready to get this thing to the paint shop so they can do their thing and i can get my new junk in.

you'll be fine with a plate. make sure the bolts you put in have at least 4-5 threads in the intake and are SEATED
