Put the cats back on and tried the o/r Prochamber

Ok, so i tried my old midpipe on my car for 5 minutes and thats o/r prochamber+dumped mac which sounds like complete ****.. no rumble or deepness at all on my car.

Anyways i have emissions soon so i wanted to try my old prochamber mid pipe before i put back on the older mac catted h. I just put the catted H back on it sounds like a damn stock car lol.. so quiet. I mean people might still think its loud, but i have no BLAT and i have no throatyness like with the o/r H nonono



verdict after emission??: O/R H goes back on my baby!!!

pros of catted H: I actually have a slow car now because i have low end power. (before i had a slow ass pos pig) With the o/r H i only had top end so every car would dust me @ stoplights.

Thats why i was out there for hours.. and i mean hours. I was going to keep the o/r prochamber on till the day i have emissions in semptember but it sounded like sh!t. So, i opted to put the mac catted H back on right now so it was long nasty dirty day.

Anyways its worth the problems to switch the o/r H every 2 years i think.

Man, i get to 40mph so damn quick now. It use to takes hours to get to 40mph lol. Now i can shift out of 1st and be @ 40mph by like 3500 rpm in 2nd gear. Before i use to be able to be @ 40mph while shifting out of 2nd lol.
Anyways, the o/r prochamber plus flowmasters+tailpipes sounds so damn good.

Putting the cats back on almost got me in trouble, but it saved me also.


I was turning out of a gas station and i stepped on the quiet padel and flew right past a police going about 60 in a 45. Luckly my car was quiet as hell and he didnt even come after me. Alittle down the road my radar detector alerted me to a FULL KA band so he shot me way to late because i hit the breaks when i seen him waiting to turn. (nose dove though) I turned off into a bank and hide out for abit while i made a deposit lol. I know if i wouldve had the o/r H that wouldve been a ticket i wouldve hated myself for... i mean just because im loud means im going super fast.


This back pressure is a lovely thing.. i can actually pass up people. Also, my exhaust smells like candy now compared to having no cats and i can sit in the garage with the car idling for 1 second and not almost die.

However, after emission im taking the cats back off for another 2 years :rollinglaugh:

Hey man im trying. I had this o/r h and dumped macs for along time now. Only reason why the catted H on is because of stupid emission test and i cant take any chances of them looking under and seeing my o/r pipe plus my dad doesnt want an illegal exhaust.

Loud is fast! for a while. I got sick of mine being loud.

man im notsure whats wrong, but i was going crazy driving my car when it was quiet. Usually driving the car gets me in a UP mood, but when the catted midpipe was on.. my mood was down. No excitement or nothing! I mean im already slow and having a quiet slow car is pointless, but having a loud beast sounding slow car is pretty nice :rockyou:

and switching midpipes is not bad at all. Just spray the header bolts with pb blaster and let it sit for like 30 seconds than use your mite and unscrew that bitch. I start from the catback to the headers when removing a pipe. Than when im reinstalling i start from the headers to the catback and only finger tight everything.
