I ordered a kenwood hu from crutchfield and they asked what kind of stock system I had, I knew it wasn't the mach 1000 but the stock hu said mach on it so I assumed it was the 460? So all the adapters that they sent me totally didnt fit so I had to cut the stock plug
and splice all the wires. I'm trying to install my subwoofer/amp but I dont know what to use for an amp turn on wire. I'm so lost :crybaby2:

do you have the tweeters by your mirrors, complete with a metal tag on them that says mach460?

Do you have a box under your deck with an octagonal shape and a bunch of holes in it?

the amp turn on wire is the blue, or blue/white on the back of the deck.

No tweeters by the mirror and im pretty sure theres no octagonal thing, I'll see what I can find when I take the hu out again today. Thanks man

Sounds like no mach system then. What stock plugs did you cut? And do you have a factory radio or aftermarket? If aftermarket look for the blue or blue/white wire which is the signal wire for the amp to turn on.

Its really easy...

Did you already install your deck?

If you already installed the deck there is a blue wire with a white strip on the back of the new kenwood headunit that is your remote turn on wire...

If you need help with installing the amp just PM me and all tell you....

Make sure you get a good ground ...
