Ok so I was out shooting pool last night with some buddies who all drive mustangs.
They were asking me about my setup.
I told them I have a PI Intake on NPI heads and they said it's not possible... because the ports don't match up to the head...
Then we got on the topic of PI cams in NPI heads...
They were wondering how they would fit in an NPI head and I told them it would work just fine...
I know there are two different styles of PI cams: Romeo and Windsor

Now which ones would I get?
I was told I have a bolt on cam not a press on cam
Which PI cam is a bolt on?

If you have AIM
hit me up on there so it's easier to talk

And another thing, apparently I am slowly leaking antifreeze ever since we put the PI intake on... well ever since the shop did

so what exactly is your question?

your friends are dumb.

pi intake works on npi heads with pi intake gaskets and a dab of rtv.

pi cams go right in with no degreeing...

Im not sure if its romeo or windsor that needs the cam gears

would it be just a simple, take it off and put it back on fix?

did the shop know to use rtv when they installed the pi intake?

cause the rtv is supposed to stop the leaking from the coolant port.

Im sure they didnt use rtv....so its leaking.

Im pretty sure you use pi intake gaskets and a dab of rtv on the corner of the coolant port.

I thought you had one? Lol. Anyway, use 99 Mustang GT gasket's, and look at the top of the page for the sticky that has everything you need to know about it.

Think of it as a test, if you can't swap the intake, you definately aren't ready to do gear's, cams and everything else.

The intake's a cake walk :thumb:

I had my whole '01 motor completely apart and put it back together the same day. Course it was on an engine stand so everything was easy to get to. Point is, cars aren't as complex or difficult as everyone makes them out to be. Alot of it is common sense.

I know, and I know they've fed you some bad info too, so.... It's a straightforward thing to do, take you time, read the sticky, and learn alot about the car.
