Looking at adding a cold air intake set up on my 95 gt. Im not really sure what to look for. Ive found bigger MAF housings, and Bigger throttle bodies being sold as well. Are the cold air intakes compatable with these? Im kinda confused on what I should do. Should I just buy a CAI kit, or buy a bigger throttle body, MAF, and find the pieces to fit them. Thanks for any help!

what has been done to the car now? Most of the CAI will work with and maf made for the 302 but there are a few that will require special mounts. I have an anderson power pipe that moves the maf into the fender and would only work with certain types but it cleans up that are alot.

The car is bone stock. The thing is, if I did do a HIC swap wouldnt I want to add all the stuff I listed above anyways. Seems like every car on here has most of the items I mentioned.

if you did a HCI swap and didn't open up the intake and maf, that would be your choke point. A cai is a good starting point and were alot of people start, including myself.

would I notice any added power if I added a cai, bigger maf, and throttle body? I dont really want to go tearing into the motor just yet. Plan on using the car as a daily driver to keep miles off my 09 f150, and if I tear into it I know it will turn into a big project haha
