Ok I could have swore that I read the crown vic and grand marquis 4.6 engines have a forged rotating assembly. I don't remember where I saw that and cant seem to find it searching for it, can anyone confirm this? And any certain year model to get engine out of? I have a friend that thinks he is about to either replace his engine or rebuild and he has a vortec sc. So im thinking his best bet is to swap to a crown vic engine if they are forged because he really don't have the cash to do a build plus this is his daily driver.

The rotating assemblies are not forged in the CVs. I THINK they might have been in the Lincoln MkVIII but don't quote me on that.

The Marauder MIGHT have been forged. No clue but even if it was you might as well spend the money on a custom built engine.
