I just finished an intake swap on my 95 GT and I believe the distributor is a tooth off now. I think I know how to fix it but please correct me if I'm wrong.

1. remove distributor 2. remove #1 spark plug 3. turn motor by hand, until I feel the compression stroke 4. set distributor with the rotor pointing to the #1 wire... 5. reinstallplug, wire etc and thats it???

Why not turn the motor until compression stroke is reached and see if the rotor is pointing to #1 first? Before you go pulling it out.

ok so I set it up right and she still is doing the same thing... stumbles, wont run... my actions were setting #1 to TDC comp stroke, lined the rotor up with #1 and set the crank to zero... WTF
