What exactly cant you take off? The bolts on the headers, or the bolts to the mufflers?

im thinking hes talking about the studs on the headers connecting to the midpipe. I would soak them in WD or PB Blaster and let it soak a while, maybe put some heat on them if possible without burning anything up. take em a little at a time. actually broke one of mine off tying to get mine off once. had a buddy drill it out and i think we just threw a new bolt in there.

In that case than yes, pb blaster or torch them until they get red hot. Its a lot easier if you can get your hands on a good compressor and impact gun, or a breaker bar. That does it most of the time, worst thing that can happen is you break a stud. Grind it off an use a bolt and nut like 1bad95 said

Yeah i would remove them from the engine and pb blast the heck out of them and them torch em and keep repeating until you break them loose. If worse comes to worse it could be your excuse to by some new shorties!!!

I'm not too sure you can remove the headers from the engine while attached to the midpipe. Maybe with the engine removed
