Quick question about A/C components....

I have read that if you take off a compressor and reinstall it, its a good idea to install a new evaporator. Well if i take loose the condensor will i have to install a new evaporator? Or is this only for the high pressure side or how does that work, im kind of unsure...

The evaporator contains dessicants that absorb moisture, and they will no longer be effective if exposed to open air for a significant length of time.

So yes, it's a good idea to install a new one.
