I just picked these up, 10 minutes from my house, I know they are rare and what is the true name, Euro? And what's the easiest way to wire them up?
Export tail lights for the japan cars ... It's nice if you got the harness with them hard to come by ... I'm pretty sure someone did a write up on how to wire them on here .
I got harnesses with it but they are the wrong harnesses, I debating on using them or storing them away to put on ebay in a few years, I saw a few write ups just seemed like there should be an easier way
I'm sure if you have a set of spare harnesses sitting around for your stock tail lights you can modify the one given with these by following the runs of the harness that works. Maybe even interchange connectors if it came down to it
With all the stuff you have for sale I'm sure your car has some bad ass stuff so with out a doubt I would be putting these on your car
I was thinking on putting it on my 95 Cobra, that I have all the Cobra R stuff on, also next week I think I closed a deal on a 95 Cobra R upper intake since my Cobra R donor car didn't come with one.
I don't have a spare harness that I can use, I don't want to cut up the only one I have so I guess time to find another parts car to get a harness
I know that, I just know people are going to ask if I want to sell them and my answer is yes if the they offer me a lot more, otherwise I will keep them, rare parts sell just takes time, sometimes years, it's been a waiting game after 2008, before that things would sell in hours, but recently my rare inlet tube off my 95 Cobra R sold within a day for $500
no doubt you could buy the boots and make the coupler for a lot less but just like the fr500 wheel or the folding mirrors people want them and are willing to pay.
Love those lights, sweet pickup. Exports are sweet, I really want a set of horizontal exports for my car.
