Hmmm... Then what the hell are these lol? And should I pass?

Is that the current wheels on your car in your sig? Chrome bullets? If so save and get some deep dish rears and the car will look 100x times better. I would pass on those R's because they look funky.

There anthracite Bullitts but I was actually thinking of getting 10.5s for the rear

Get the 10.5 bullitts! I had the my bullitts same on all four, and then got wider ones with a deeper dish for the back. Made a huge difference! I think your bullitts look better than the Rs in my opinion!

Yep using your car as a example... is awesome. Those wheels look so much better than R's and the 10.5 deep dish will make any mustang look 10x better those Cobra R's

You will love the deep dish bullits. The 98 I bought came with 17x9 up front and 17x10.5 chrome bullits out back. As with a new edge like yours, the bullits are one of the best looking wheels available. Also you might want to make sure your buddy actually is on the up and up with these because those rims aren't even worth $300 IMO. They are ratty, look weird and by the time you got done finishing them at $100/wheel for any good powdercoater you are now in them for $700 which is more than these even with shipping. Forget the tires, you should not be running anything smaller than a 10" wide rim and a 285 wide tire out back MINIMUM for a SN95 to look proper. The stock wheel setup on the SN95 is just horrific on every level from the 4x4 stance to the spacing to the wheels being sunk in like 4" from the fender lips. Do what you were planning and get some matching 10.5" wide rims out back and throw some on some 315 wide Nittos.

Thanks man I was kinda thinkin the same about likin the look on them. And to be honest I had no intentions on keeping them chrome, I had really wanted to paint them lol so that's a good point to make about cost. I'm really not the flashy type in any sense of the word. If I had it my way, anything and everything that anyone else would chrome, I would powdercoat lol. I like a tad bit of it, like the lip, and the grill I have, but that's it.

I'd toss the 275's for a while till I could get some nice 315's. I'm really not sure if I want dr's or just a good set of summer's because I know the dr's wear out real fast. People stretch FAR worse than a 275 on 10.5's lol just check out Whipy's stance thread.

Thanks for the input man!

Here you go killnthrill. Not the best pic, makes my car look sort of 4x4ish and the tires skinny. but it nicely shows the difference between the front and rear lip

I need to bust out the car tomorrow for the first time in awhile since I got back from a 3 month deployment 2 weeks ago but here is a half decent pic of the back wheel. 17x10" rim and 315/35/17 nitto DRs. Nittos run narrow so the sidewall is flush with the rim lip but I like that look. Front is 17x8 with a 255/40/17 Nitto street tire and is recessed about 1/2" from the fender lip. I feel a 17x9 rim up front with the same tire and the right backspacing would be perfect.

Thinking when I eventually go to coilovers I will change to some 2000 R rims and lower it a little more in the front.

Who cares if there real cobra R's lol J/K

Personally I would never buy a set of real saleens or cobra Rs for the money they are asking just buy replicas they look better and are just as good or better.

My wheels look way better then real saleens and there Replicas

I would wait and get 18 for your body style car I think the wheels you have know look great you just need to get 2 new rear 17x10 billets and some nice rear tires and be done ..

Thank's a lot for the input guys! Some really great cars you all have!

I like the 18's on the New Edges without a doubt, my buddy has black 18x10, 18x9 Bullit's on his 01 Cobra and I love the stance it gives his car, which is already slammed. But what I don't like is the amount of sidewall. It rides like a truck, but worse lol. And do they even make DR's in a 18? Well actually I don't think I want any because they run down so fast.. But still. Who knows maybe some day lol.

Thanks again guys they look so sick on your guys' cars! I'll definitely be getting some!
