im going get to a set of 13" cobra with my tax return but i was wondering if it is possible to use my 11" fronts and caliper on the rear? would i have to make my own bracket? i figure it would be a cheap way to upgrade the rear

Just so I get this straight when answering the question. You want to used the front caliper on the rear when you change over to 13" rotors? Correct?
That might be a problem with the parking brake. There's no mechanism on there for it. Now if you dont used the parking brake and dont care to have one then fine. Personally I wouldn't do that. I would buy the right calipers. But thats just me. One rule of thumb when working on cars is this. "you can do anything you want as long as you have the time and the money". More times than not the money is the hard part. But thats my $.02.

IMO upgrade the rear brakes is good only for looks as the front brakes do most of the job to stop the car.

There is an upgrade kit where you install the 11" Cobra/Mach1 rotors and mount the OEM calipers on a revised mounting bracket.

The rear Cobra brake calipers are the same .All that changes is a dust shield, bracket, and rotor.

Yea. That's what I was thinking of. The Mach 1 kits, F & R, are items on my list to do. Good upgrade for the money.

I agree with javi..

Imo upgrading rear brakes on a 94+ is pointless.

Baer sells a rear 13" rotor upgrade kit. There is an article about it in the How-To section.
