Hey all, I just painted my rear brakes and put on the Baer Rotors to go with my fronts.
Thought U'd wanna C some pix.

    Stock is beautiful:

Prep for paint i hit it good with a wire wheel on my grinder.
Took off the pad outer bracket, did the piston section still attached.

    Got some high temp paint.
The only had silver, black or red in they're "caliper" paint.
So i got this wheel paint, and a clear. 8)

I painted each with 3 coats of color, then 3 coats of clear, dry 1 day, and reassembe.

Put it together, remounted (which was kindof a PITA with the ebrake cable right in front of the bottom hole.

I'm happy with how it turned out!!

that looks fricken sweet dalamar. I dunno if I ever discussed my final decision with ya. I'm going to end up getting a set of brembo's... it's a lot of money, but I like spending it on my car... so it's justifiable right. You had already sent me a pic of those rear rotors those are sweet. What size is that rotor, i guess it's still a 10.5 or whatever the stock size is

that looks a lot like how i painted my stock calipers, but i used black and red... not to hijack ur thread or anything

[attachment deleted by admin] SORRY HAD TO CLEAR ROOM

as soon as i sell my wheels i will be upgrading the brakes... the rears might stay stock for a little while though, cause the fronts are gonna drain my pocket book :hammer:

    Thanks Thorco.
Those brakes will be sweet. It makes the car feel awsome, my friend AZRoush has them on his car.
It's his favorite upgrade, and he has a ton done to the car.

your brakes look nice too. Good idea on the 2 tone 'wink'

guess i must have just skimmed the whole thing, cause i didn't even realize that you had cleared them too. I had never even thought of such an idea...

i'm really torn here. I originally wanted to just do a cobra front 13" upgrade... then when they were out of stock everywhere got to looking at other options and decided I could swing the brembo kit. now that the cobra calipers are back in stock I just don't know which setup i want. Either way i've decided on brembo slotted rotors front and back... but can't decide on which calipers to get. I could get the cobras and put a lil money else where... or i could just get the brembos which are simply :pimp2:

    sooo torn :'(
