Just making sure but I belive the 8.8 rear end is the same size and one out of a 94 95 will fit in a 96 97 98 or vice versa correct? the reason im asking is because im getting a parts car and a guy wants a rear end but says that only a 94 95 gt rear will fit.

94-98 mustang 8.8's are the same, just different gear ratios on some

the 94-95 have different brake lines that run on the rear axle, unlike the 96-98 do. Well, atleast the 94's do, not 100% sure of the 95's..

he would be reusing his brake lines from his car anyway. so it shouldnt make a difference, unless he wouldnt be able to attach his old lines to the new axle becasue of mounting locations

yes, but cant you remove them from the axle? isnt that how people swap rear ends without having to bleed the rear brakes?
