Alright, my gf's dad works on extreme performance diesels all the time. He said that we could probably install the rear gears instead of taking it to a shop to do it and have to pay more money. But he asked me to find the "specs on tolerances". What exactly is he talking about?

If a guy installing my gears asked me that I'm not sure if I'd still have him install them, but maybe it's no big deal :dontknow:

you need to be looking for pre load and backlash specs.
I don't know what the specs are specifically.
