Rear main seal removal question

sup guys im trying to get my rear main seal out of my 94 gt but it dosent wanna seem to come out..i tried using a flat head and beig carefull not to scratch the crank but its a no go..any tips?ideas?links?pics?..thx guys

That's how I've done it before as well.
A self taping screw is what I've used.
Leaving the screw in the metal part of the sealuse something to pry it out, claw hammer, pliers with a fulcrum. and it'll come right out

Mine wasn't leaking, but at 225000kms, I wasn't taking any chances when I had the engine out so I replaced it :). I used the screw technique and worked great, easy job to do, GETTING to it is the PITA part!

Mine has been replaced 3 times with the last replacement a crank sleeve used hoping it would stop it. It still leaks and I give up.
