ok so i changed my rims and i can take the driver side rear tire and turn it a little and it makes a metal to metal clinc noise. also when i drive it everytime i hit a bump it clancs. what do you guys think it is. the previous owner put 3.73 gears in the back.

I would buy a rebuild kit(gaskets) for your rear end and just take it to someone and have em rebuild it, when they do that, they will def find out what it is. It was probley put back together wrong.....

there are so many things this could be.

i'd have to say something with the gears or an axle bearing

great, the one week i was gonna work on the stang, its raining :wall:. thanks for the info guy. i think i am just gonna rebuild it and have one of my buddies who is a mechanic for 18 years come over and check it out
