When installing my springs i should have looked futher indepth to the process and into more how it effects geometry of the cars front end and the change in pinion angle.
Uprcaster.jpg

Upr caster camber plates if you go more then a inch these are going to be a wise choice.

PINION ANGLE!!! If you dont know about it read up on it.. Anyone wanting to go lower should understand it before doing it. Its not hard at all and actually asy concept but talk about driveline vibration.

After doing my rearend with everything even after the correction of the pinion angle i still had a slight vibration
Driveshaft-1.jpg

Eithe one of two options you have either go get it balanced again or better yet get a aluminum one.. I will have to say the gears, short throw, and this driveshaft sure make it a little more rev happy and your smile huge. There is a noticable difference in the feel of the car maybe not much in the actual get up and go.

I just hope after this build i will leave it alone for about a yr at least and either buy my viper and then have time to do a nice 408 combo or 396 dont know yet but want it really streetable and still fun to kill corvettes.

Lots of pictures to add but update is everything has been torn completely down now.. Pulled the pan and number 1 rod cap and didnt like the little bit of wear so i polished her up and grabbed new bearings. Block is now honed and freeze plugs and cam bearings out.. Tue going to put it in the hot tank and wash it up then start assembley. Have the trans apart also looked at the third gear and didnt like the amount of wear on the slider teeth so i called astro perfromance and picked up a new one also picked up cluster gear support.. http://www.astroperformance.com/product_info.php/manufacturers_id/29/products_id/301 Now lets just hope since everything has been completely done and looked at ill be good for a few yrs.. Not to say im not going to upgrade a few more things like a msd ignition and things like that but the main stuff will be done.. Also car is now done at the body shop. Door was fixed and fresh paint on the rockers and front bummper with a nice 3000 grit wet sand and buff job. Looking new.

Ebay has them on and off. Im going to pick up another set and modify them with i projector fitting and convert to hids. They are nice gives the car a nice look. Usually 100 bucks with shipping and easy to install just make sure to go and seal them up more..

Sweet, thanks
I loved the dark look but I can't see crap with my smoked headlights. Do you have trouble with visibility at night with those headlights?

Not at all they are clear as day. Im also running a little brighter bulb in them but they are just as good as my clear cobras were.
