Thanks for sharing all that information, very cool stuff. I was lucky in the way that disks and gears were replaced for me for free when I had my gears, clutch, flywheel replaced. The shop owner put the tranny on a cart and sent it off with a tech who inspected it, replaced what had shown worn. I watched him for a couple of hours, still don't have the jist of how it all works completely.

It really looks like some sweet material actually. Im just wondering how it soaks into the metal. Wonder if its like the zmax stuff. Ill have to use this a few times after i break this engine in and see how she does :) Thanks for introducing me to something new..

-MILITEC1 was released from the military for civilian use in the late eighties. I first justified purchasing gallons of it at work by placing some inside of reciprocating 50 ton ac compressors. Recorded amperage readings before and after resulting in a significant drop in amperage. We then used it in circulating pumps, air compressors, and to seized bearings to get ample time for replacing them.
I use it in my engine, transmission gear box, differential, power steering pump, and I soak replacement bearings in it for a few days before installation. I own a few guns that get cleaned and wiped down with Militec added to any moving parts.
Here in Virginia you can purchase it over the counter in auto parts stores, gun/rifle ranges & stores or at their headquarters in Herndon. Got ta love it! Some great stuff. Smells good too.
