if you not dickin up the paint on the metal don't worry about it on the plastic. You can always get it media blasted I had mine done not long ago. Can't remember the cost but I was at the same point it sounds like you are at now trying to get some thick paint off my bumper. spent 3-4 hrs and was only a 1/4 of the way done. I think it was less then $100 and at some point you have to ask what your time is worth ya know?! Saved me probably 5-7 hrs of work and hours of soreness afterwards...

You can use it on plastic, just move quicker so you don't heat it up.

About 12 hours of labor and the decals are no more. :deeplist:

There's still a bunch of "residue" on the car that the eraser wheel was just smearing around...

For someone that doesn't do it on a daily basis, I'd say 12hrs is about right. Wax/grease remover will take care of what's left.

Awesome. Thank you.

Any brand in particular that's better than others?

Okay. Since this is an ex-police vehicle, there's little dings all over it, rock chips, etc. I'm not really worried about it being "show quality" or anything, so I'll probably skip on the expensive stuff. Thanks for your help.

Wd40 or Goo Gone is what I use. Apply it to the cloth then wipe the car.
