My brother in law gave me his old (as in time, not looks) white GT front bumper. The paint on mine is cracking like nobodys business so I wanna replace them. Since they are the same it shouldn't be too hard, I understand that. The only thing is, I've heard about riveting and such, basically, how do I go about the swap?

the side brackets should already be rivited on.
the hard part is removing the tabs that slide under the headlight/front end area. you may have to cut them off your old bumper.
there are bolts on both sides you have to access the nuts from the inside/wheelwell area.
and the front isn't to bad.

good luck with the swap.

I did it and it was surprisingly easy. You're right though, the tabs under the headlight mounts are the hardest, but no breaking was necessary, just some TLC from under a lowered car in the AZ sun haha. Worked out perfect and it looks great. Thanks for the reply!
