the clutch and brake pedals on my car are really worn out and half the time I slip when I press w my sneakers... I don't like the look of the billit or chrome etc pedals over them.. was just thinkin of putting all new rubber pedals on .. I got new pedals from rock auto for 5 bucks each,, any tips or hints people have to remove the old ones and install the new ones ? I heard warm water helps remove them is that true ??? thank you for any help and input

warm, soapy, water is what I've heard.

Warm makes the plastic expand, soap acts as a lubricant, easily washed off after install.

All I used to change mine was a hair dryer, heated them up really good and squished them on
