I want to get a new Keyless Remote for the cobra, I seen them on ebay.
Has anyone replaced theirs?
How hard is it to reprogram?
Anything to know about buying a certain one?

He means a Ford dealership. as for the pic of that remote Javi posted I think that's the wrong year, you need the older style.

Mine has horses on them. regardless that's the style you need and program them with the directions above with the thingy in the trunk. Make sure you do all the fobs at once.

Alright I bought a keyless remote.

Javi, their were 3 grey plugs back there.
1st one - male/female grey plug, the female end of the plug had a green wire coming from 1 prong right into the other prong of the female.
2nd one - a male grey plug with nothing plugging into it
3rd one - grey plug that goes into a box with a red dot on the top of it, this is right behind the taillight

I tried all 3 with a paperclip and not one of them made the doors unlock or lock.

I have pics on my phone if needed, I really don't know what to do here. Please help.

the plug is not supposed to be connected to anything, is just for the Key fob programming purposes. :eek:ccasion14:

you need to be patience it could take you a few minutes to get it to work.
