Well, the rotating assembly has been sent off to the balance shop, so we are waiting on that. Heads are coming from AFR soon enough, everything else is pretty much there. The motor should be fully assembled by the end of second week of september. At that point I will give my car to the shop, and they will gett o work installing the engine. They will keep the car to about two weeks for tuning, getting all the bugs out, and break in. I should take delivery at the end of september. Expecting to see 350whp at least

Yeah, for sure Dave. I'll let you know when its done. It will probably be just in time for AutoX with Speed Ventures in october, so if you want to, show up to cal speedway, and I'll give you a ride. Car has full MM package at this point, so its very grippy

Also a small update. Checked the weight last night. As it sits right now with battery in the front and stock engine, I'm at 3420 lbs and 57/43 weight distribution. This was measured with full tank of fuel. It will be nice to see where the weight will be once the motor is in.

Should drop 100lbs or more off the front. Especially as you go to all the light weight components.

I seriously doubt it will drop 100 lbs. Aluminum heads are lighter, but crank will be heavier since it's a stroker crank. H-beam rods vs stock I-beams, almost everything on the motor is bigger. The flywheel and harmonic balancer are light as well, but not enough to offset the weight of the crank probably. I don't really know. I'll have to wait and see.

Yeah, that's why I've literally overbuilt the thing for how much it will make. I really don't have time or money to go through several engines until I get it right.

Mine weighs 3240 with the over-built 410w/TR3550 combo and a QA1 k member... You'll be surprised the weight savings..

3420 is heavy! Full interior?

My 94 is 3170 with a little fuel and me in it, with a 25lb ballast too. Not sure what your class rules are, but there is definitely some weight you can pull.
