That's with full MM box, bigger wheels, and bigger brakes. A lot of those suspension components added weight. None the less, the car was 3340 stock. It is still a full street car. I have full interior, working ac, full sound isolation, and trunk with a spare in it. It will stay this way until I find a different daily driver

More pictures with more stuff.

Here is the old engine. Goodbye old friend, you've served me well.

Now, something seems to be missing here. Where did I put this thing?

As of right now, the build is slightly behind schedule. The plan is to have the motor in the car on friday, and finally fire it up monday. Tuned and delivered should be end of next week.

They'll be clean, don't worry about that. The baffling has to be removed for rocker clearance, so they'll do that first.

Just curious how do you feel about having such a high mileage stang? and what are some problems you've encountered with old parts, and how much of the car is original?

Just curious why you went with the link-bar lifters vs. the regular spider style lifters? Maybe I missed something.

Nothing on suspension is original, except for sway bars. Brakes have been gone through, so was the drive train. The only thing left from original stuff was rear end, most of body and most of electrics. And honestly, it's been the most reliable car I've ever owned. No problems with anything really.

A bit of an update. It's all been buttoned up, but it's some some weird bugs that have to be worked out. Car fires up runs for a split second and dies immediately. TPS is reading all over the place, and very high. The shop is working away.

Yeah, I'll let them sort it out, but the thing is though I've got a track event to be at on December 15th, and I want the car broken in and tuned by then.

I just talked to the builder. I came to conclusion that I want him to just give the car back to me when it's all ready to go. I have huge project wrapping up at work, last thing I need to deal with the car and weird issues.
