REQUEST: Tstat replace

Im sure its simple, but to be honest, I dont even know where it is on this car. Any help would be appriciated and a part number for a 180 stat would be coolness also.

If it's like my dad's 5.0's were, follow the upper radiator hose back to the housing on the intake- that's where the thermostat is. Should be held on by 2 bolts and the 'stat is behind that.

as for 180 t-stat, I'm not sure... maybe Advance Auto parts or Autozone's websites would have it? rockauto?

Just go to your local auto parts store and tell them you want a 180* thermostat. They should have one on the shelf.

Yeah, any parts store will have a 180 stat for sale.. they are nice and cheap..

If you haven't done it yet, this is what you need to remove to be able to get to the thermostat.
