cue the music... Ok not exactly what I am after in the end but its the first thing that came to mind. I finally picked up my ride-tech air-ride system, can't wait to see it in action. Parts so far look top-notch as far as machining and all the little fittings/parts included.

I opted for the self leveling system. This means when I take out my stereo for track days it will automatically keep the same ride height. The motor/sensor that monitors the height gets mounted to the body/chassis and the arm gets mounted to something moving on the suspension so it knows how high it is. To the left is the display of the control unit. I can individually adjust any corner or hit the 3 preset heights on the fly.

The air tank fits nicely behind the seat and I will make a cover to go over it later.

and finally the display. I am going to install an overhead consol from an explorer and will flushmount the display where the light use to be. I am also going to hack the temp sensor so it shows my amplifiers temp, the radar detector already shows outside temp.

the overhead is still a little tenative until I drop the headliner and see what is behind it but that is the plan.

so far for everything in the pic I am $2k into it but again that had the automatic leveling system. Still need the bags/shocks/struts. For me I was able to justify the expense just because I want it lower and do not want to tear off the sideskirts for the side exhaust as I have seen others do. So after putting all the money into that, and the fact that I do not plan on selling this car ever the adjustability was something I had to have to be able to keep enjoying it with out fear of for a long time.

Ain't shit behind the headliner. Pull the a pillar trim, sun visor screws, and dome light. Also the window weather stripping. I would suggest not pulling the headline COMPLETELY down...its glued to the roof skin. The dome light and sun visor harness run right up the passenger a pillar. should be easy to put it in there. I've used clock pod gauge clusters and put them on roof for a different install.

Nice kit man, I like the idea of the overhead controls that's awesome, only one thing I would change is putting your expansion tank in the trunk. I'm sure you have subs and amps back there but finding a away to hide would look much cleaner IMO

gona be hard to recover the headliner if I don't take it all the way out. Not sure what you are thinking will go in the a-pillar??

I am not worried about the look of the tank behind the seat as I am going to be making covers for both floor-areas behind the seats to hide/mount stuff. I hope to put another bottle behind the pass seat and yes the trunk is pretty well filled in my head already with 3 - 10s, 4 amps and 2 batteries. The rear seat delete cover will make a smooth transition down into the floor/seat.

Should be sweet for sure .. But your car is going to be 5000 pounds when your done .. Your going to need Boss block with twin turbos to move that beast lol j/k .. So the system was 2 grand without the bags and shock and struts ?? How much more wiill it cost ? I always thought it was super sick setup car will drive like butter .. How's the stereo system coming ? I was thinking of removing mine just because the weight but I love it ...

yea I too realized that weight was gonna be a bit higher then most a little while ago. Another reason I will probably add a nitrous to it but also why I am building the trunk in a modular set up so I can pull it out easily and quickly for track days. stereo work has been sidetracked a little bit while the suspension stuff is going on but I will need to build the stereo around this stuff so I wanted it done first. I have been working on the power-side display in the drvrs side pass seat as the dist block will be feeding power to the compressor.
