Well it looks like I have to say goodbye to my 97 Stang

My son hit a patch of black ice yesterday morn and ended up in the path of a 2007 Jeep.

He's alright but the car isnt. Oh well, at least it was a nice Christmas.

Let me know if anyone knows of a good deal.

Wow that was a horrible crash. I'm very glad your son is ok. That must have been terrifying for both of the drivers....I'm sure your son got pretty roughed up though, the jeep practically hit HIM :santa_shocked:

    Thanks,

He's ok just a bunch of bumps and bruises and a small scratch on his eyeball.

He was able to climb out the passenger side right after the accident.

    Wow!

Compared to other sport/small cars are mustangs pretty sturdy?

  12. yes... I have to say they are very safe cars...

I shouldn't be here now either...

I took out a telephone pole @ 40mph... I broke the pole and tore it out of the ground in a way that sent my car airborn breifly...

    I wasn't buckled...

    So... they are very safe

Damn, that sucks. Most important thing is your son is O.K. I don't let my son anywhere near the drivers seat of my 97, just for that reason.
