if you wanna go fast quick, definitely pick up an Explorer/Mountaineer engine and spray it. you wouldn't even have to open it up--just swap all your Mustang accessories on it, plus fuel stuff, ignition, and electronics and GO! honestly, i'd be more worried about the t5 breaking before the engine.
yeah, the tail lights my painter does (lol, sound like Yoda). it's a mix of a small amount of black base (not sure the mix ratio) with clear coat, and he does multiple coats. just had mine re-done (first time, i sprayed them with vht nightshades, but didn't clear them) and the look is awesome. matches the rest of the car.
it may work better w/ the 96-98 tails because of the clear lenses--so upgrading to led bulbs for us 94-95 guys will help out a lot.
