Rock crusher shifter

That was Marc in the video, I was going to buy one when they first came out. It just seemed too big for me? I was afraid it would turn my Short throw shifter into a long throw shifter.

Shouldn't matter with the rock crusher. The short throw is inside the mechanics of the whole shifter assy. The internals.

the longer the handle the longer the throw.

The length of the handle and the design of the mechanism have to fit for a happy medium. My F-150 has a 5 speed and the handle is about 2 1/2 feet long, yet the throw is not very far. If this same shifter, with a shorter handle, were used in a Mustang it would be "too" short of a throw.

Ok sorry guy's I haven't updated this thread in a few weeks. Been busy moving out to the beach! Ha ha. Well it came in perfectly packaged for me from UPR. It was the easiest install I have ever done. Since I ordered the new shifter I also ordered a new shifter boot, and a billet shifter ring. Shifting with the new Rockcrusher is a breeze. It's a smooth feeling shifter, looks awesome, and works perfectly. I will post pics later today I hope. :thumb:

Awesome! Going to order a new boot myself, it looks like a 20 year old boot in a 10 year old car. No good...

Glad to hear it's working, thanks for the update and looking forward to the pics!
